We do NOT disclose, loan, rent, or sell customer information to other organizations.Our website does not capture credit card numbers so we do not have access to credit information. We do not make use of email addresses except to communicate about customer orders and store promotions. We do not sell or give personal information of any kind to any other company. We do not send spam or email advertising of any kind except for email sale notices available through our web site.
Shipping
Black Dog Cutlery & Gifts normally ships via USPS. The on-line store calculates shipping and handling charges based on information it takes directly from USPS so the shipping charge will depend on the weight of the products you order, your location as well as the type of shipping service you choose.
Sales to Minors Black Dog Cutlery & Gifts does not sell to minors. If you are under 18 years of age, please have a parent or guardian place an order for you.
Mail Order
If you prefer to prepay, you may order by mail. Simply contact us with your order and we will calculate shipping for you. Then enclose a money order or cashier's check for the total.
Returns
No returns will be accepted without a return authorization (RA#) number, and according to our return policy below. To obtain a return authorization number please contact customercare@blackdogcutlery.com. The following are the official guidelines for qualification of a return authorization number:
1. All returns must be accompanied by a receipt from Black Dog Cutlery & Gifts and must be packaged in its original packaging.
**The exception is our personal care products such as razors, strops, shave brushes and nail clippers. Some of these are hygienically sealed and we will take them back only if they are unopened or defective.
2. Damaged merchandise must be returned within 15 days of receiving the merchandise. We do not charge shipping on the replacement item.
3. Products received by the customer in error must be returned within 15 days or receiving the item. If Black Dog Cutlery & Gifts has shipped the incorrect item to you, please contact us and we will instruct you as how to ship the item back. Black Dog Cutlery & Gifts will not charge shipping on the replacement item.
4. We offer a 15 day money back guarantee on all our items. If for some reason you are not satisfied with the product or the product is not quite right for your needs, Black Dog Cutlery & Gifts will exchange or refund the purchase price of the item (minus shipping charges).
5. Any items returned to Black Dog Cutlery & Gifts without a RA# will be refused and returned to the customer postage due.
6. It is assumed that all customers have read and agreed to Black Dog Cutlery & Gifts return policy as stated above.
Warranty Policy
If ever your merchandise is damaged due to a manufacturer's defect and is in need of repair, please follow these steps:
Visit our manufacturers info pages.
Locate and follow the link to the manufacturer of your product. If a link is not available, contact customercare@blackdogcutlery.com. Follow manufacturer's guidelines to have your product repaired and returned to you as soon as possible.

We often get requests for printed catalogs. We can provide you with manufacturers complete catalogs . Most of these items are available for special order through Black Dog Cutlery & Gifts.
